Some things just work really well together.  Danielle + Lara = the sister duo behind SCHRIFFEN.  It is incredibly rare to have a business partner that you trust with your life, but that is exactly what makes our partnership unique!  I love another sister duo that reminds me so much of me and my sister.  Penelope and Monica Cruz just seem to be in sinc and I admire them lots!  They have also designed a line of clothing for the Spanish retailer Mango. 

 Is there anything better than a great sister??

Martha Stewart Center 5th Annual Living Gala

I really enjoyed meeting Martha Stewart at her recent 5th Annual Living Gala.  The domestic diva could not have been a better host! The organic menu, impeccable flowers, and yoga demonstrations made for a truly unique evening that had Martha Stewart written all over it.

Why is LA always so much fun? Every time I visit, I swear I am moving to Malibu to surf all day and design clothes by the ocean, until I realize that as much as I love the ocean, surfing, California chic clothing, and a relaxed pace; I will always be a city girl at heart.

Lara and I had the best time at a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel show and rocked out to my new favorite group 30 Seconds To Mars, while in LA last week.  Lead singer Jared Leto is fantastic and rocks a mean skinny jean/pant...

As an aside, CONGRATS Lara on your graduation from George Washington! You inspire me to constantly grow and take new risks in fashion, business and life.

High Line Spring Benefit NYC

It's officially spring....and to celebrate, Lara and I attended a diner to benefit the high line in NYC last night.  The evening was fun and amazing as usual, and we really enjoyed our table! There was even a super cute photo booth for guests to remember the evening.

Lara and I are both wearing vbeaute lip gloss in vain, and lately I can't leave home without mine!
